About Us
Our story is rooted in more than just a love for bamboo. We’re two friends who became soul sisters.
We met in 2021 through mutual friends, but our real bond began in early 2024. From that moment, it felt like fate—our friendship grew fast and deep. We’ve supported each other through life’s ups and downs, embraced each other’s families and children, and built a connection that’s truly rare.
We share a love for high-quality bamboo (of course!), but also for Disney, New York City, Gossip Girl, and spontaneous adventures. We also both believe that we were born in the wrong era as we are obsessed with the 80’s. Our similarities brought us together, but our differences push us to grow.
MerleAnn was born from our dream to offer affordable, beautiful bamboo pieces—and built on the foundation of a friendship that means the world to us.
The heart behind our brand is even more meaningful. MerleAnn Bamboo Co. is named in honor of two incredible people who shaped our lives—Tori’s Papa, Louie, and Molly’s Grandma, Annie. Their love, strength, and legacy continue to inspire every step we take.

The Men Behind MerleAnn
Meet Brandyn and Tyler — our incredible husbands and the best friend duo behind the scenes at MerleAnn Bamboo Co. Brandyn, our Product Procurement Manager, and Tyler, our Creative Director, bring passion and precision to every detail. Just like us, they’re best friends too, which makes building this dream even more special. From day one, they’ve supported our vision with love, laughter, and endless dedication. We truly couldn’t do it without them.
Louie Merle Wright
Tori’s Papa- he wasn’t just my Papa—he is the greatest man I’ve ever known. His steady strength, kind heart, and constant encouragement shaped so much of who I am today. He believed in me endlessly and inspired me to chase big dreams and do good in the world. His presence in my life was a gift, and his legacy lives on in everything I do—especially in the heart behind MerleAnn.
​He was the kind of man who always did everything for everybody—the one you could count on no matter what. Through the good and the bad, he was always there. He never missed a cheerleading competition or a moment to show up for me. He loved Disney just as much as I did and found joy in every little thing life had to offer. He taught me to look for the good, to stay positive, and to lead with love. His selflessness, joy, and unwavering support continue to guide me every single day—and I carry his spirit with me in every step of this journey.
Anne Adele Metheny
Molly's grandmother- When co-creating our brand, I was deeply inspired by my late grandmother, Annie, whose love for fashion and insistence on high-quality products left a lasting impression on me. She filled my childhood with joy, love, and endless fun in the sun. I have treasured memories of swimming in her pool, then curling up in cozy pajamas to watch TV with my siblings.
Her home was a warm, welcoming haven where memories with family and friends were made. My personal goal for MerleAnn Bamboo Co is to capture that same sense of comfort, quality, and joy in every product we create.
